About ADA Audit Report
Helping small businesses get ahead of ADA compliance — before it becomes a problem.
John Liddy
Founder
Based in Southern California, I started ADA Audit Report after seeing too many small businesses blindsided by accessibility compliance issues they didn't even know they had.
Most business owners have no idea their website violates ADA accessibility standards — and the first time they find out shouldn't be from a lawsuit. I built this service to give businesses a heads-up and an affordable path to fixing the problem.
Why This Exists
Website accessibility lawsuits against small and mid-size businesses have surged in recent years. In 2025 alone, over 4,600 ADA-related web accessibility lawsuits were filed — and the majority targeted businesses with fewer than 50 employees.
The problem? Most of these businesses had no idea they were non-compliant. Their web developers never tested for accessibility. Their website builders didn't flag the issues. And by the time a demand letter arrived, the cost to respond was already in the thousands.
ADA Audit Report exists to change that. We use industry-standard automated scanning tools to identify accessibility violations on public business websites, and we let business owners know — before someone else does.
How We Operate
Helpful, Not Threatening
Our outreach is a courtesy notification. We inform businesses about issues we've found and offer a detailed report if they want it. We never threaten legal action — because we're not lawyers.
Accurate and Actionable
Our reports use the same testing engine (axe-core) trusted by Google, Microsoft, and the U.S. government. Every violation comes with a specific fix.
Transparent Pricing
One report, one price — $49. No subscriptions, no upsells, no hidden fees. You get a professional PDF you can hand to your developer.
Respect Your Inbox
We comply fully with the CAN-SPAM Act. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, our physical address, and a clear identification of who we are. One email, one time.
Our Technology
We use axe-core, the world's most widely used accessibility testing engine, combined with Playwright browser automation to perform deep, multi-page scans of business websites. Our audits test against WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the standard referenced by the Department of Justice for ADA web accessibility compliance.
Each report maps violations to specific WCAG success criteria, assigns severity ratings, identifies the exact HTML elements that need fixing, and provides step-by-step remediation guidance. We test for over 40 distinct accessibility criteria across every page we scan.
